Open Competitive Examination for Vacancies:

The Legal Draftsman's Department of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce an Open Competitive Examination for the following positions:

• Editor Grade III
• Documentation Assistant Grade III

Examination Date: February 2025
Location: Colombo

Eligibility:
This examination is open to all eligible Sri Lankan citizens. If you have previously applied, there is no need to reapply!

Examination Details:

• Written Examination: Candidates will be assessed through an intelligence test and language proficiency test, each lasting one hour and carrying a total of 100 marks.
• Pass Marks: A minimum of 40 marks is required in each paper to qualify for the interview stage.

Application Process:

• Deadline for Applications: All applications must be submitted by registered post to the Legal Draftsman’s Department by December 30, 2024.
• Examination Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000 must be paid at any Bank of Ceylon branch.

Important Notes:

• Admission cards will be sent by post to qualified candidates. Ensure you have your admission card to enter the examination hall.
• Candidates must prove their identity with a valid National Identity Card or Passport.

විවෘත තරඟ විභාගය සඳහා දැන්වීම:

ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී සමාජවාදී ජනරජයේ නීති කෙටුම්පත් සම්පාදක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ, පහත සඳහන් තනතුරු සඳහා විවෘත තරඟ විභාගයක් පවත්වන බව දැනුම් දෙයි:

• සංස්කාරක (Editor) III ශ්‍රේණිය
• ලේඛන සහකාර (Documentation Assistant) III ශ්‍රේණිය

විභාග දිනය: 2025 පෙබරවාරි (දිනය පසුව දැනුම් දෙයි)

ස්ථානය: කොළඹ (නිශ්චිත ස්තානය පසුව දැනුම් දෙයි)

සුදුසුකම්: 

මෙම විභාගය සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ඇති සියලුම ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා පුරවැසියන්ට සහභාගී විය හැක. පෙර අයදුම් කර ඇත්නම් නැවත අයදුම් කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය නොවේ.

විභාග විස්තර:

• ලිඛිත විභාගය: අපේක්ෂකයින් බුද්ධි පරීක්ෂණයක් සහ භාෂා ප්‍රවීණතා පරීක්ෂණයක් මගින් ඇගයීමට ලක් කරනු ලබන අතර, ඒ සෑම එකක්ම පැයක් පවතින අතර මුළු ලකුණු 100 ක් ලබා දෙයි.

• සමත් ලකුණු: සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ අදියර සඳහා සුදුසුකම් ලැබීමට සෑම ප්‍රශ්න පත්‍රයකම අවම වශයෙන් ලකුණු 40 ක් අවශ්‍ය වේ

අයදුම් කිරීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය: 

• අයදුම්පත් භාරගන්නා අවසන් දිනය: සියලුම අයදුම්පත් 2024 දෙසැම්බර් 30 දිනට පෙර නීති කෙටුම්පත් සම්පාදක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට ලියාපදිංචි තැපෑලෙන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.

• විභාග ගාස්තුව: ආපසු නොගෙවන ගාස්තුව රු. 1,000 ඕනෑම ලංකා බැංකු ශාඛාවකින් ගෙවිය යුතුය.

වැදගත්:

• ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍ර සුදුසුකම් ලත් අයදුම්කරුවන් වෙත තැපෑලෙන් එවනු ලැබේ. විභාග ශාලාවට ඇතුළු වීමට ඔබේ ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍රය ඇති බවට සහතික වන්න. 

• අයදුම්කරුවන් වලංගු ජාතික හැඳුනුම්පතක් හෝ විදේශ ගමන් බලපත්‍රයක් සමඟ තම අනන්‍යතාවය ඔප්පු කළ යුතුය.
