Transport & Logistics Assistant position at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Colombo. Key details include:

    Responsibilities:

    The role involves managing IOM's vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating transport and logistics, including:

    • Maintenance of vehicles, preparation of accident reports, and fuel management.
    • Monitoring driver logs, transport requests, and insurance compliance.
    • Coordination of material deliveries, building repairs, and office asset maintenance.
    • Preparation of transport-related documents and legal clearances.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field with 2 years of experience, or 4 years of experience with a high school diploma.
    • Experience: Fleet and logistics management experience required, humanitarian field experience preferred.
    • Skills: Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
    • Languages: Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil (fluency in all three is an advantage).
